We are kicking off a new competition for July and August 2010. We're looking for your best wallpaper design for the iPad, incorporating the Sixrocket theme, in any artistic interpretation imaginable. Wow us with your talent and creativity!

The Competition

The competition is open to all creative talents in the Asia Pacific region. Read on to find out more about Judging Criteria, How to Enter, Prizes, Terms & Conditions, and learn about our Sponsors.

Entries are open between now and the August 30, 2010. So, get your entries in before then. We'll be announcing the winners mid-september on both the Sixrocket website as well as Sixrocket Facebook Page and Twitter account.

Contest Judging

We will be judging this contest based on a few criteria:

• Practicality and professionalism of design.
• Originality and artistic direction.
• Mac feel and creative application of the theme.
• Attention to detail and level of pixel perfection.
• Adherence to the Terms & Conditions of the contest.

How to Enter?

To enter the competition, contestants may submit any number of wallpaper designs via the following instructions:

• Submit your design via your Sixrocket talent Account. If you do not have an account yet, sign up for a free Basic account here.
• Login with your email and password and complete your Sixrocket profile.
• Create a new folder in your Portfolio section and name it "iWallpaper".
• Upload a max quality JPG/PNG image with a resolution of 1024 X 1024 pixels.
• Composite your design, so that the most important part is visible in the central 768 x 768 area of your image.
• Entries must somehow incorporate any Sixrocket logo(s) in any way you deem appropriate in your own artistic vision, or as prominent or subdued as your creativity sees fit.

It's quite simple, really. Just a few points that need your attention and agreement before you participate and we are all good:

Entries must be submitted via our Sixrocket portfolio platform before midnight August 30, 2010 GMT+8.

Entries into the competition must be entirely your work and all efforts must be taken to ensure no copyright/trademarks infringements of any kind whatsoever.

Rights to any artwork, royalty-free stock images, design elements if applicable, must be secured and paid-for in advance by the participants in their own accord.

Prizes are not redeemable for cash and must be accepted as is.

Judging of the winners will be done by the Sixrocket Panel of Judges. Our decision is final

Sixrocket is only responsible to pack prize with care, ship by courier to your given address and is not responsible for any additional charges beyond the shores of Singapore. Meaning that if any custom tax is levied by the respective Customs (or any other charges) when it reaches your country, you will be responsible to pay for them before the prize will be released by your authorities. Failing to do so may mean that the product may be returned to us in Singapore and when that happens, we will assume that you have willingly given up the prize for another winner/campaign.

Sixrocket reserves the right to select the winner(s) and all decisions are final and no objections will be entertained. You can still raise them, we just won't entertain them. Sorry.

Do note that by submitting your artwork for consideration/judging, you have explicitly agreed to our T&C, as well as transferring all rights of the prize-winning entries solely to Sixrocket, allowing any use of the artwork in any way Sixrocket sees appropriate. Credit to the author/talent will be given accordingly.
